On the Tateyama Alpine Route, we ask that you take safety precautions for any luggage (skis, snowboards, backpacks, etc.) that may endanger other passengers or damage or soil other luggage when using public transport. If safety precautions are not in place, we ask that you purchase a simple cover (bag) on-site.
[Requests Regarding Use of Tateyama Highland Buses]
Large backpacks will be loaded into the trunk of the Tateyama Highland Bus. Please take precautions to prevent damage to valuables and leaks from water bottles, etc. Also, please remove fragile items such as helmets and cups from your backpack. Please note that we cannot accept any responsibility for damage resulting from failure to take safety precautions.

When using mobile batteries in stations or on trains, please be extremely careful not to drop them or subject them to impact. Please refrain from using mobile batteries that are swollen or overheated due to deterioration, etc., in stations or on trains. In the event that you see any fire or smoke, please remain calm, ensure your safety, and immediately inform a staff member.
[Request to passengers carrying bear spray]
There have been incidents of bear spray being misfired due to improperly attached safety pins. If you are carrying bear spray, please cooperate with the following points while at the station or on public transport:① Please ensure that the safety pin on your bear spray is securely attached. ② Please seal your bear spray in a plastic bag. ③ Please place the sealed bear spray in your backpack.
