Tomohiko Saeki
Born in Ashikuraji at the foot of Tateyama, he currently works as a "Tateyama Guide."
He is particularly informative about the history and culture of Tateyama worship that was popular in the Edo period and has planned original tours that he guides dressed as a Chugo (the old guides who would lead pilgrimages to the mountain) while introducing legends such as the "Tateyama Mandala", in addition to tours tailored to kids where they can get to grips with nature and the outdoors.
