September 20 is “Bus Day” in Japan. We will be operating “E~SORA Bus”, which marks 10 years of operation, for the Bus Day related event.

First introduced in 2015, “E~SORA Bus” provides panoramic views from the glass ceilings and big windows.

Normally, we do not take reservations for the E~SORA Bus, but we will sell special tickets on WEB Ticket to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Whether you rode it back then or not, let’s celebrate the anniversary together.

◎ Details of E~SORA Bus Anniversary Tickets

１．What Are “E~SORA Bus Anniversary Tickets”?

This is a ticket celebrating the 10th anniversary of  “E~SORA Bus” introduced in 2015.

The bus has glass ceilings and larger windows than a normal bus, allowing passengers to enjoy panoramic views of Tateyama Kurobe.

As a purchase benefit, you can get a memorial ticket and special item.

2．Sales Period, Departure Date, and Departure Time

Sales Period: From 1pm on September 1

Departure Date: September 20 (Sat.) & 21 (Sun.)

Departure Time: Depart from Tateyama Ekimae 8:40　*It takes about 70 minutes.

<Caution> Booking can be made by 3pm the day before your departure date.

 

３．Designated Section and Fare

Only one section traveling from September 20 and 21 will be on sale.

〔 Tateyama Ekimae →  Murodo（One-way）〕

〇Adult: 5,170JPY

〇Child: 2,840JPY

*Tickets for destinations beyond Murodo or return tickets can be purchased at Murodo Station.

 

4．How to Purchase

Only available on “Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route WEB Ticket“.

 

5．【IMPORTANT】 Cancellation Policy

If you cancel after 3pm the day before your departure date, cancellation fee of 500JPY per person will be applied.

<E.g.> If you purchased a E~SORA Bus Anniversary Ticket for September 20

(1) No cancellation fee applied if you canceled by 3pm on September 19.

(2) 500JPY applied if you canceled after 3pm on September 19.

 

6．Others

*This is a limited section item, so we cannot accept customer request for changing traveling sections at a ticket counter.

*This item is only available on WEB Ticket and cannot be purchased at a ticket counter.

*If the service is suspended due to road or vehicle conditions, we will provide replacement transportation “Tateyama Cable Car ” departing from Tateyama Station.

*The departure time from Tateyama Station during the replacement service may vary from the original departure time depending on the situation on the day.
